In Tihomir, a remote village in southern Bulgaria, the world seems to breathe a little more slowly. It’s a place suspended in time, tucked between gentle hills, grazing cows, curious goats, and humble homes with gardens full of flowers and homemade treats. Far from the city’s hustle, even the cats take a well-earned break.

That’s where I saw him — along a path leading into a nearby forest, a cat sitting perfectly still on a rock, gazing out at the quiet landscape… or maybe up at the endless sky. His eyes were half-closed, his body completely at ease, with a soft, sleepy stare.

This t-shirt captures that small moment of magic — a glimpse of peace, where I shared my well-deserved day off with that cat.
“Today Is My Day Off” — for days when you’re not working, or when you simply feel as drowsy and dreamy as he did.

About the T-shirt

About the Printing Technique

For my designs, I’ve chosen to use DTG (Direct-to-Garment) printing instead of DTF.

While DTF applies a film that can sometimes affect the softness and versatility of the shirt, DTG prints directly onto the fabric, preserving the natural feel and breathability of the 100% cotton tee.

This method ensures your shirt remains comfortable, lightweight, and perfect for everyday wear.

DTG printing delivers vivid, sharp, and detailed images that last.

With proper care, the print’s durability is estimated to withstand at least 30-40 washes, keeping the colors vibrant and the design looking fresh over time when you follow the recommended care instructions.

Care Instructions

To keep your shirt and its design looking their best, wash it in cold water (max 30°C / 90°F) and tumble dry on low heat.

Avoid ironing directly on the graphic, and do not use chlorine bleach.

Following these steps will help maintain the print’s vibrant colors and durability.

After attending a cooking class in Chiang Mai — with the curious enthusiasm of someone eager to learn the art of distant flavors — I tried my hand at preparing some of the most beloved dishes in Thai cuisine: the fragrant Pad Thai, the spicy and enveloping Tom Yum Goong.

That day, among steaming pots and spices dancing in the air, I discovered that cooking is also a way of listening to a culture, of stepping gently into the heart of a people.

The photo, however, does not show my dessert — but rather the gift from our teacher: the mango sticky rice she lovingly prepared and offered at the end of the class. A simple gesture, yet full of warmth.

A dish that smells of sunshine, that tells stories of golden rice fields, of ripe mangoes caressed by the wind, and of hands kneading with wisdom and memory.

Wearing this image feels like carrying a sweet farewell, a tropical dream, a gentle caress that tastes of coconut and mango.
A love letter, yes. But written with sugar, not with ink.

During my stay at the Huan Chiang Dao Resort, immersed in a traditional wooden bungalow of northern Thailand and surrounded by a lush green garden, I saw many cats hiding in the shadows and two big dogs playing carefree.
But what really struck me was her: a calm cat, lying on a swing that moved slowly back and forth, as if she was trying to lull herself.

At first, she seemed shy, almost distant, but then I understood she was just lazy, looking for cuddles in her own special way.
She slowly rolled from one side to the other, asking for attention without hurry, as only those who live at a slow pace know how to do.
That slightly moody, sweet, and affectionate air spoke more than a thousand words.

It was her moment of relaxation, her way of saying “Here I am, I’m here, a little slow, a little sleepy, but always ready to receive some warmth.”
And in that lush garden, with the sun filtering through the leaves and the light wind, that little moment of laziness was pure magic.

For those who are a bit lazy and moody — and there’s nothing wrong with that — but remain always adorable, sweet, and with a strong desire for cuddles.
